Origin of Full Moon Party Thailand

Full Moon Party and Koh Phangan are inseparable, like Bonnie and Clyde, the party is what the island is known for! Its origin can be found back in 1985 when a group of travelers from around the world gathered on the island to celebrate the full moon, which soon became a popular event. The Full Moon Party in Haad Rin is now an international phenomenon, with thousands of people attending each month. The event is known for its wild atmosphere, with all-night parties on the beach and plenty of music stages.

Full Moon Party Phuket

Phuket Full Moon Festival is the largest party on the beach in Phuket held on Paradise Beach. It was inspired by the popular Full Moon Party Koh Phangan and has become a successful version of the all-night beach party. If you’re looking for a beach party but don’t have time to visit Koh Phangan, the Full Moon Festival on Paradise Beach is a great alternative. This event takes place every month on the night of the full moon and features international and Thai Djs, fire dancers, and other live performances.

Additionally, there are other parties held at Paradise Beach almost every weekend as a part of the “Moon Parties”, such as a Half Moon Party Phuket, Black Moon Party, or even Foam Party. Paradise Beach is situated on a stunning and isolated northern tip near Patong Beach, and there is a free shuttle service available every 30 minutes from Bangla Road in Patong to the beach.

What to Expect at Phuket Full Moon Party at Paradise Beach?

You can expect a full-on party with a top-notch sound system and entertainment from professional dancers and performers. The party starts from 7p.m. until late, which you have constant access to.

There will be five bars available for refilling all the booze that you can handle, as well as restaurants serving Thai food, BBQ, and Italian cuisines. There will be First Aid Providers and trained Security Guards on duty at all times, so the venue is pretty safe. Also, ATMs are available, so you don’t need to worry if you run out of cash. You will also get to party with large crowds from all walks of life, including the locals!

Where is the Full Moon Party Phuket?

Both well-known Full Moon and Half Moon Party Phuket are held at Paradise Beach, a secluded beach during the day and a party venue during the night. Paradise Beach gives out Haad Rin Beach vibes, but it is more closed and less crowded when compared to Haad Rin.

How to get to the party?
