Patong is an ideal place to base yourself for your 7-day adventure. Why not throw yourself in the deep end on the very first day? Patong is world-renowned for its picturesque beach, and legendary nightlife. A short 3-minute walk from Patong beach, in the heart of all the action, is Lub d Phuket.

It is a vibrant, fun-loving, and newly renovated pool party hotel. Being a budget hotel, it is a reasonable choice to base a stay here. From our hotel, you can explore the beautiful Patong beach and its never-ending cafes, bars, and stalls during the daytime, then head out for an incredible night out in the lively and intense Bangla Walking Street once the sun sets.

Day 2

Beach Hopping in the South

KaronViewpoint by lubd(dot)com

Once you’ve recovered from your Bangla Road-induced hangover, beach hopping along the Southern coast of the island is a remedy you need! South Phuket is home to some of the most stunning clear waters and calm atmosphere and a great way to start the beach hopping adventure from Karon Viewpoint just south of Patong, to see spectacular views of the Andaman Sea.

You can also explore the coastline, covering many world-class beaches like Kata Noi, Kata, Karon, Nai Harn, and Rawai beach. The Big Buddha, Wat Chalong temple, Promthep cave, and the Windmill viewpoint are other great places to visit in this part of the island. All these spots are conveniently located within distance from Lub d Phuket!

Day 3

Northern Phuket

While the Southern side of the island is undoubtedly the tourist hub, the northern parts are underrated. A much quieter and family-friendly area, North Phuket offers visitors the chance to relax and enjoy a more tranquil vibe. Banana Beach, Mai Khao, Nai Yang, Haad Sai Kaew, and Naithon are among the nicest beaches that you must visit. A jungle trek to see TonSai and Bang Pae waterfalls in Khao Phra Thaeo national park is also a great way to spend your third day if you’re looking for a good workout.

Day 4 & 5

Overnight Trip to an Island

SimilanIslands by lubd(dot)com

Another top-notch activity to experience is going to one of the smaller islands neighboring Phuket for either a day trip or an overnight stay. There are 6-7 stunning islands around Phuket that you can reach via a short boat trip. We would highly suggest checking out Phi Phi Island — a world-renown destination with its signature turquoise waters. Aside from Phi Phi, other great islands near Phuket include the Similan, Racha, Coral, and Koh Yao islands. Here you can enjoy world-class snorkeling, kayaking, diving trips, private yacht charters, deep sea fishing, or just relaxing on the white sandy beaches.

Day 6

Outdoor Activities
(ATV / Buggy Tours, Jet-Skiing, etc.)

JetSkiing by lubd(dot)com

Phuket is also home to a lot of great adventure-based outdoor activities. After returning from the overnight island trip, spend your day trekking or book ATV/buggy tours that take you to some hidden spots deep in the jungle with incredible views like the one at Nui Beach that we extremely recommend. Also, you can book a Jet Skiing adventure found across most of the touristy beaches around the island, or reserve a private speedboat charter to take you deep-sea fishing.

Day 7

Phuket Old Town

Finally, after 7 days of sun, sea, and outdoor activities, the perfect way to wind down and take in the real essence of Phuket is to visit Thalang Road in Phuket’s Old Town. This historic street full of influences from neighboring countries comes to life at night, and you can enjoy a variety of different street foods, snacks, and handicraft shops to take souvenirs back with you. The street food here is out of this world, and the Sunday walking street is a must for all people visiting the island.

Things to do in Phuket can be overwhelming and packing it all into 7 days may get a little exhausting at the end of your trip! However, if you follow our itinerary, you’ve more or less covered the key highlights of a classic trip to this island paradise.
